Reveal
Drop in any file. Crucible checks what it really is, dumps its metadata, pulls readable strings, digs out anything hidden underneath โ text under black boxes, files welded onto the end, QR codes, and data tucked into image pixels.
Drop any file
Image, PDF, Office doc, zip, audio, or raw binary โ up to a few hundred MB.
Decode
Paste text that looks like gibberish. Guess the encoding automatically, or stack operations to peel it back one layer at a time โ base64, hex, binary, Morse, ROT, XOR, gzip, JWT and more.
Verify
Before you send a "redacted" document, check it here. A black rectangle drawn over text hides nothing โ the words copy straight out. This reports what's still readable, plus earlier versions of the file left inside by saving.
Drop a PDF, image, or Office doc
Crucible tells you whether the redaction actually removed anything.
Strip
Photos carry GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers, and timestamps. Documents carry author names and edit history. Drop a file, see what it's leaking, and download a clean copy with that data gone.
Drop an image, PDF, or Office doc
JPEG, PNG, WebP, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX.
Redact
Cover something so it's actually gone. Draw boxes over an image or PDF page and Crucible destroys the pixels beneath and flattens the page โ there's no text or original layer left to recover. This is redaction that passes the Verify bench.
Drop an image or PDF
Then drag boxes over anything you want removed.
Hide
Put a message or a file where it doesn't show. Tuck it into the pixels of an image (optionally locked with a passphrase), weld it onto the end of a carrier file, or just convert it to an encoding. Reveal reads back anything Hide makes.
